"Suzanne Laird passed away at the age of 91 Monday morning after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Though born in Oklahoma she long ago adopted Baton Rouge as home. She is survived by one daughter, Paula J. Laird of Baton Rouge, one son, Donald P. Laird of Diamondhead, Grandchildren, Aaron and Amanda, 3 great-grandchildren, and 3 very spoiled poodles. She loved to travel, hated retirement, and always had a funny response. A private service will be held in Gulfport at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her name to Pennington Biomedical Foundation Alzheimer's research.
