Susan Perrie Thoreson, passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA to her loving parents, the late Donald Joseph and Inez Camille Thoreson. Susan was the beloved mother of Clarity Inez Thoreson and Eric Ellis Hines (Amanda Sikes Hines). She is survived by one brother, Randall Thoreson, and two granddaughters, Sophia Grace Hines and Natalie Faith Hines. After graduating from high school, Susan spent her career as an Engineering Technician for the LA Department of Transportation and Development and was a member of Ascension Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mikal Thoreson, and her grandparents, Herman and Ethel Stockwell and Carl and Clara Thoreson.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Saturday December 7th, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
