Missing you, still,  Steven, Salim, a year later. There was some Bowie <3 lyric that has partially faded from my memory, but it came to me just about as I was going to write this message.

It's something like, "... The greatest love I never had".

I will always love you, Beautiful Soul. I only wish we had met.

I found out last night, almost four weeks after his passing, that Steven was gone. We were Facebook friends for a very long time, and had begun corresponding  via Messenger  again this year, after not having done that in awhile. He meant SO much to me, yet somehow weeks had slipped by since my last message, and I had not seen his most recent message -- a beautiful song  called, "NOVA". 

Steven (Salim) was a very unique, creative, and INSPIRED (also INSPIRATIONAL) individual.  He channeled something special that most of us could not even begin to imagine,  or to touch... He was much like an ancient Messenger of sacred sounds, words and images,.

I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to speak to him in person, or even on the phone. His beauty and energy will be there for me, and for ALL of us who loved him, always.

Steven was truly a unique soul, with a one-of-a-kind perspective on the world.  We've been robbed of one of the good ones, folks.  I will miss him terribly.

A voice and personality so deep and dynamic, to have known him is truly a once in a lifetime thing. Sending love to his family and dear friends. I'm thankful for the memories.

May Steven rest in eternal peace. Lots of love and prayers for his parents, my wonderful neighbors.

A light in a very dark world. I’ll miss him..

One of my favorite friends I ever had. I wish I would be able to see him again. I will miss him forever. There is a space missing on this Earth now for me, where he would've been.  I hope he is flying happy and free from all woes now. I love you Steven S. Wright.
