At a young age, she began babysitting, and eventually began an in-home daycare center. She was a “second” mom to so many children over the years. After taking a cake decorating class, she enjoyed making cakes for friends and families for all occasions. She loved cooking of all kinds and made every holiday special with her signature dishes. In her free time, she enjoyed attending LSU football games, researching and recording family genealogy, and watching her favorite Elvis or Clint Eastwood movies. After retiring, she devoted her time to loving and spending as much time possible with her children, grandchildren, and loving husband of 51 years.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Ritter; daughter, Jeannine Naquin and husband, Sean; son, Christopher Ritter; grandchildren, Owen Naquin, Emily Naquin, Adeline Naquin, and Bryce Ritter; and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Idell Cutrer; and her brother, Milton Wayne Cutrer.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 1pm – 2pm. Funeral services and burial will follow beginning at 2pm.
Pallbearers will be Chris Ritter, Sean Naquin, Owen Naquin, Steve Ritter, Greg Ritter, Justin Ritter, John Weber, and Brandon Fontenot.
