Shirley Kay"Gigi"Green

Shirley Kay "GiGi" Green, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at the age of 80. Mrs. Green was retired from Hill Medical Associates with 27 years of service. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10:00am until funeral services in the chapel at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Shirley is survived by her best friend and partner, Wilbert E. "Sonny" Kemp; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tracey G. Hodges and Kandi Tackett and husband Robert; four sons and two daughter-in-law's, Charles M. "Chuck" Green, Jr. and wife Suzanne, Brett Kemp and wife Paula, Trae Kemp and Todd Kemp; and eight grandchildren, Nikkole, Josh, Amanda, Colt, Brad, Vick, Corey and Morgan; and a sister-in-law, Ann Redden. Preceded in death by her son, Robert Stacey Green; parents Robert and Darlene Redden and a brother, Robert Harley Redden, Sr. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the loving care provided to Shirley by Dr. Susan Richarme and New Century Hospice.
