Her favorite role of all was being Memaw to her 4 grandchildren.

If she wasn’t spending time with family, she was busy quilting and making memory bears for others who were missing loved ones.

Her love and nurturing heart will be greatly missed by her family but her legacy will live on in each of their hearts.

Heaven is playing Grease on repeat and overflowing with sweet tea this week.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ernest EJ Major, son Brandon and wife Erica, son Cody and wife Hannah, grandchildren Myles, Mia, Briar and Lennon, mother, Sherry Guidry, sisters Tammy Ray and Lisa Guidry, mother-in-law, Lucille Major, sister in laws Debbie Gremillion, Mona Landry, Glenda Allement and spouses, godchildren Megan Sullivan and Ty Webre, best friend Deanie Rumfola, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is proceeded in death and united in heaven with her father Benton Guidry, brother David Guidry, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, father-in-law Ernest Major Sr., brother in laws Roger Gremillion & Buck Ray and nephew Michael Bourgeois.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10:30am - 2:00pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow.

Pallbearers are EJ Major, Brandon Major, Cody Major, Keith Allement, Dustin Allement and Daniel Rumfola.

Honorary Pallbearers are Myles & Briar Major.
