A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at her home. She was 61. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. until chapel service at 10 a.m., conducted by Dr. Nick Kalivoda. She is survived by her husband, David A. Longmire; a daughter, Sally Harrison Longmire Hingel; a son, David Allan Longmire Jr.; a granddaughter, Mary Ellen Longmire; a grandson, Noah Kyle Hingel; two sisters, Sally Smith Whitley and Ann Harrison Smith Brewer; a brother, Marvin Lee Smith Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lisa Kothe Longmire; son-in-law, Nicholas Jerome Hingel Jr.; nephew, Bradley Lee Smith; and nieces, Jennifer Savoy, Ashley Brewer, Laurie Brooks and Renee Lefeaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Lee Smith and Margaret Jackson Smith. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, the Junior League of Baton Rouge and Camelia Society of Baton Rouge.
