Rosemary D. Firmin, a native of Cottonport, LA and a resident of Denham Springs, LA passed away on June 4, 2021 at the age of 78. Rosemary was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a loving wife for 61 years to her husband, Louis (Jerry) Firmin. She was an affectionate and adoring mother and grandmother who loved to cook for and entertain her family. She will be missed dearly, but we will rejoice in knowing that one day we will have a great reunion. She is survived by her husband; Louis (Jerry) Firmin; daughter, Sheryl Firmin Warren and husband Eddie Warren; grandchildren, Kayla W. Bradley and husband Cody, Justin Badeaux and wife Theresa, and Rachel Badeaux; five great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jordison, Rylee, Jaxson, and Ada’Mae; and brother, Dennis (Nunnie) Ducote. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mona Firmin, and Anita (Skeeter) Badeaux and son-in-law Darrell Badeaux; parents, Laura Ducote and Widnor Ducote; and 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00. Pallbearers will be Cody Bradley, John Fabre, Jesse Frey, Lester Brooks, Kristopher New and Jeff Miller. The service will be officiated by Brother Max Landry and assisted by Doyce Whitten. Interment will follow at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
