Rosalie Aucoin Lacoste

Rosalie Aucoin Lacoste, a native of Napoleonville, longtime resident of Baton Rouge, and current resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023. She was 87. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) Devall and son-in-law Steve Devall, four grandsons and their spouses, Stephen and Karen Devall, Scott and Annalee Devall, Jason and Rachel Devall, and Kyle and Korie Devall, and great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Jenna, Brylee, Kaylee, Mason, and Jace Devall. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Aucoin Cain, and her brother, John Aucoin. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harold John Lacoste, her mother, Marie Aucoin David, and her father, Luke L. Aucoin. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm, celebrated by Rev. Jerry Martin. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North Street, in Baton Rouge. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Gonzales Healthcare Center.
