Robert "Ooby" T. Williams

Robert "Ooby" Williams was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, born on January 4, 1989. He passed away on October 2, 2021, at the tender age of 32. Robert was a graduate of Catholic High School. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Angela and Michael Moore of Baton Rouge; father, Robert Tate, Jr. of Baton Rouge; sisters, Shameka (Jerry) Washington of Katy, TX, Dominique (Milton) Parks, and Robin Tate of Baton Rouge; brothers, Damien (Tina) Williams of Baton Rouge and Charles Tate of Baton Rouge; and a very special friend, Tynette Hawkins and her son Bryce Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilma and Horace Crowley and Robert Williams, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Paulette Jackson and Robert Tate, Sr.; great-grandmother, Thelma Green; uncles, Byron Jackson, Claude Lewis, Orient Lewis, and Robert Williams, Jr. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (11000 Florida Blvd) on October 6 at 9 am until service at 11 am, officiated by Pastor Troy Grimes. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9607 Florida Blvd. Pallbearers will be Steven Roan, Michael Roan, Lance McCaleb, Terrance Crawford, Carlos Helm, Jr., Darrell Irwin, Travis Lewis, and Nicholas Williams. Honorary pallbearers include Damien Williams, Charles Tate, Robert Tate, Jr., Michael Moore, Terrance Crowley, Antonio Tate, Jerry Edwards, Timothy Williams, Horace Lewis, and Milton Parks, Jr.
