On Friday, September 16, 2022, Robert James St. Romain, loving husband and father of two daughters, passed away at the age of 74. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Bob was born on February 14, 1948 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Istrouma High School in 1966 and began working in the HVAC trade. On June 21, 1968, he married Janet Sue Andrews. They raised two daughters, Jamye and DeEtte. Bob retired in 2013 as VP of Operations for Star Service. He was known for his quick wit, his practical wisdom, and his compassionate heart. Bob is survived by his wife, Janet, his two daughters, Jamye St. Romain and DeEtte St. Romain Dalrymple, and his sister, Pat St. Romain Wall. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (11000 Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge, LA) will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 9 – 11 am, with a funeral service at 11 o’clock. Burial to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers: Mike Miller, Robert Miller, Vincent St. Romain, Marvin St. Romain. Pallbearers: Jimmy Kaiser, Tobin Barker, Britt Miller, Connor Miller, Jonathan Owens, Robby Tullier.
