He was a retired journalist and professor at LSU. Robert was a native of Detroit, Michigan and a resident of Baton Rouge. He died at 9:30pm Saturday, March 01, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 87. Entombment will follow at St. George C. C. Mausoleum. He is survived by his wife: Janet Sheldon; daughter: Mary Armstrong&husband Norman; sons: The Rev.
