Robert Louis Parolli, a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi and resident of Walker, Louisiana, passed away on December 25, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital - Livingston at the age of 77 years old.

Bob graduated from Clarksdale Senior High School and went into the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1967. He was a jack of all trades working for years at Keiser Aluminum but working for the last several decades as a self-employed fabricator. He was a member of Revival Temple Church in Walker.
Bob loved to joyfully sing and was best known for songs like , "Victory in Jesus", "I'm a tree, I'm a tree, I'm a green olive tree in the house, the house of the LORD", and "One Day at a Time". Bob was extremely adept at concocting his own version of the lyrics of any song but always sang with an overwhelming sense of joy and delight. Bob was known to be the kindest, sweetest, strongest and gentlest of men who could make anyone feel like the closest of friends. He was selfless, an adventurer, a friend to all. He was a travellin', beach lovin', "little something sweet" needin', movie watchin', fishin', record playing, guitar pickin', house buildin', incredible man.
Bob left a legacy of caring for people by being a consummate servant. Lending his ear, sharing a cup of coffee, and always working to steer people back towards the hope & power of Scripture. Many people have been saved, Holy Spirit filled, encouraged, and had their lives changed because he was a real man of God who lived even better than he preached…which is a true mark of being a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
Family & friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service that will be held at Revival Temple (28521 Walker Road South, Walker, La, 70785) on December 30, 2019 from 10 am to 12 noon. Graveside ceremony and burial will follow at Green Oaks Funeral Home (9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, La 70815) at 1 pm.
