Robert “Bob” Austin Lee, a native of Kentwood, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away Wednesday morning November 30, 2011 at the age of 81. He was retired as an owner of American Building Maintenance, and a veteran of the US Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was an avid outdoorsman. Bob was a cattleman and enjoyed riding horses competitively. He is survived by his wife, Kahne D. Lee; three daughters, Vickie Fenn and husband Jim, Kathie Haney and husband Pat, and Kimen Lee; four grandchildren, Kalee H. Webb, Erin Haney, Austin Fenn, and Kate Fenn; and great grandchild Grant Webb. He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Eula Lee; brother, Paul Lee; and sister, Kathryn Rosenberg. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday from 5pm-8pm and continue on Friday from 8am until religious service at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Donnie Nicosia, Carl Cox, Blaine Efferson, Sam Allgood, Donald Keller and Eric Suire. Honorary Pallbearer will be his long time friend and business partner, Cecil Richardson. The family would like to give a special thanks to his physicians Derrick Spell and Bryan Hathorne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge or St. Josephs hospice in his memory.
