Robert "BoBo" Burton, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 77. He was retired from East Baton Rouge Parish Central Shop and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 10:00am until funeral services in the chapel at 2:00pm officiated by Rev. Judy Burton and Rev. James Burton, Jr. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Robert is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cindy and Mike Luquette, Deborah Lynn Lucas and Dawn and Larry Cowart; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Alvin and Meredith Burton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Katherine and Bud Higgins, Margaret and Richard Whittington and Sarah and Pat Landry; ten grandchildren, Michael and wife Ashli, Christopher and wife Kristen, and Courtney Luquette, Justin Ainsworth, Dale and Stephen Manuel, Ava, Locke, Logan and Robert Banks Burton; and two great-grandchildren, Paige and Michael Luquette. Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy H. Burton, parents, Robert and Elizabeth Burton, a sister, Mary E. Smith, and two brothers, J.D. Burton and Jimmy Burton. Bo Bo was a member of B.A.S.S. and was an antique car enthusiast.
