Rita Gay LeBlanc Huff, age 92, passed away on April 4, 2022. Rita was born in New Roads, LA and loved being a homemaker. She always had food ready for anyone who came over. Rita is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Wayne L. Huff Jr.; parents, Benjamin and Virginia LeBlanc; son, Kenneth; granddaughter, Stephanie Gulino; sisters, Virgie, Beverly; brothers, Ray, Olen, Benny. Rita is survived by her son, Donald (Leah); daughters, Janet Kelly (Keith), Nancy Badeaux; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kyle Huff, Thomas Badeaux, Noah Powers, Silas Dupuy, Jordan Devore, Clay Brown. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lane Memorial, OLOL Hospital and staff, and Bridgewater Hospice. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 12pm - 2pm with a funeral service to begin at 2pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Cemetery 4045 North St. Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
