Richard Dwight Ward

Richard Dwight Ward was born to the late Norma Jean Causey and Willie Lee on May 4, 1962. He departed this life on June 21, 2018. He was a graduate of the Scotlandville High School class of 1980. Upon finishing his education, he pursued a career as an Account Support Representative with the Xerox Corporation where he was a stellar employee for the past 19 years until his untimely death. Dwight had the biggest heart and was known by many. Everyone who truly knew him, knew he loved his family, especially his big brother, his great-nephew Trey, his great puppy nephew Oreo, and his friends. Dwight leaves to cherish his memory; his brother- Ronnie Ward Sr. (Doris), his sister- Tricia Causey, his nieces- Meghan Ward, Wylethia “Tasha” Green, and Monique Thompson, his nephews- Ronnie Ward Jr. and Jarrett Walker, his great nephew- Ronnie Ward III, his great nieces- Aurielle Ward, Aniyah Dixon, and Amani Coutee, and his great puppy nephew- Oreo, all of Baton Rouge, LA. He also leaves to cherish his memory a lifelong friend/co-worker Carmen George-Parms, and a host of other relatives and friends. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents Norma Jean Causey and Willie Lee, his maternal grandmother Isabella Ward, and his niece Jamayla Brumfield.
