Ricky was a very affectionate and caring father, son, brother and husband. He was an industrial engineer and project manager. Ricky served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Denham Springs. He died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge. Ricky was 54. Visitation at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Denham Springs Stake Center, on Monday, April 18, from 1 p.m. until the religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Bishop Leon Bigler. Ricky's brother, Dr. Robert L. Millet, professor of ancient studies, Brigham Young University, will deliver the funeral sermon. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survived by his wife, Cheryl Noble Millet; mother, Sarah Burton Millet; two daughters, Michelle and Danielle Millet; son, Cody Millet; six grandchildren; sister, Carol Ann Bertrand; and brother, Dr. Robert L. Millet. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Lou" Millet; and brother, Ronnie Millet. He will be forever missed. Ricky is now cradled in God's arms.
