Richard Clyde Fontenot

Richard Clyde Fontenot passed away at home on Sunday, October 30th, 2022 at 2:50am. He was 88 years old. He is survived by his daughter Tracey Ann Fontenot Vicknair; his granddaughters Kayleigh Ann Vicknair and Payton Elise Vicknair; his brother Leeroy Anthony Fontenot; his sisters Jane Ellen Fontenot Wooters and Melanie Ann Fontenot Palliser. He was preceded in death by his parents Wycliffe Fontenot and Agnes Mae Ortego.

Richard was in the Navy serving on the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard. He then went into the financial services industry as a loan manager. His real love was his farm and his livestock which he spent countless hours with in his off time. He was an avid sports fan and loved Tennis, Baseball and Football. He loved watching his tennis, the Tigers play and Judge Judy.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10am -11am at Rabenhorst Funeral Home on 825 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Services at 11am and reception to immediately follow.
