Becky, age 68, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on November 29, 2023. Becky worked in Human Resources at The LA Dept. of Economic Development and retired after 20 years. Becky enjoyed gardening, crabbing, fishing, and spending time with her family. Becky is survived by her husband of 40 years, Vernon Smith; daughter, Madison Ann Albers; son, Jason Lambert (Casey); grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Alex Lambert, Addy and Brady Liuzza; sister, Mary Margaret Mouch (Al); brother, Cary Carlin (Edith Ann); nieces, Heather Wheeler, Sarah Guillory; nephews, Russ Theriot, James Carlin, Jared White. Becky is preceded in death by her father, James Carlin; mother, Dorothy Carlin; brother, James Carlin, Jr.; father-in-law, Jesse Smith; mother-in-law, Shirley Smith. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Wounded Warriors. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 12pm-2pm with a memorial service to begin at 2pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815
