

2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” A native of Fordoche, and a resident of Baton Rouge he passed away at the age of 83 on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 9:30am at his home. He was retired, after working for the EBR City Parish for over 29 years. He was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church, an usher and was a member of the KC’s, #6531. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm, with recitation of the rosary at 7pm, and on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 8am until service time at 10am. Burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 60 year, Lucy Reno Giordano, one daughter, Linda Giordano of Baton Rouge; one son Peter Giordano, Jr and wife Wanda Fugler Giordano of Walker; three sisters, Mary Schexnayder of Baker, Rita Kingsley of Metaire and Bena Shows of Fordoche; one brother, Joe Giordano of Fordoche; three grandchildren, Kenny Giordano, Angela Giordano Gomez and Robert Giordano, and one great grandchild, Caleb Giordano. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Josephine Giordano, one brother, Anthony Giordano, Sr. Pallbearers will be Jason Free, Brian Bennett, Jimmy Reno, Josh Fontenot, Anthony Reno and Mike Catania.
