Mimi peacefully passed into Jesus's loving arms on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 80 and a native of Monroe and resident of Baton Rouge. She celebrated 60 years of marriage with her surviving husband, Richard Pourciau Sr. Mimi was a loving mother, wife and grandmother who loved her crafts and family. Pat's legacy will be carried on by her surviving family members, daughter, René Johnson; sons, Richard Pourciau Jr., Brent Pourciau and Jeffre Pourciau; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Jarred Williams. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Robert Allee, Brent Pourciau, Jeffre Pourciau, Branden Durr, Victor Pourciau and Blake Pourciau. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Pourciau Jr. and Grant Johnson.
