Patricia Ann Kelley peacefully passed away on Friday morning, November 25, 2022. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA on November 16, 1945. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin David Kelley and by her parents, Frances Zumo Colby and William Edwin Colby. Ann is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ashby Earl Kelley, Jr. and her son Brad William Kelley. Ann is also survived by her grandson, Connor Ashby Kelley, his mother, Paige Connors Kelley, and by three siblings, Tonya Colby Keller, Catherine Colby Hill, and Kenneth William Colby.
Ann delighted in her career as a mother and homemaker, followed by teaching Religious Studies for 10 years at Redemptorist High School, which is also where she completed high school and then attended LSU. Wishing to excel in her teaching career, Ann studied to receive her Master Catechist Certificate from the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge. Ann was beloved by all who knew her, and she shared her maternal love with many throughout her lifetime.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 6:00-8:30 pm and on Thursday, December 1 from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am conducted by Reverend Stephen Hebert. Burial to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park (9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge). Pallbearers are James Andermann, Curtis Gibb, Jake Kelley, Rhett Kelley, Frank Mathews, and Seth Sinclair. Honorary Pallbearers are Ray Aymond, Chris Byrd, Wade Byrd, and Ken Colby.
