Pamela Johnson

Pamela Smith Johnson, a resident of Pride, Louisiana, passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 56 years old. She was born in Ferriday, Louisiana, on June 20, 1966 to parents, Vernon and Helen Smith. She graduated from Sicily Island High School, and was an Accountant at Hendricks Construction; she was a member and loved her church at Port Hudson Baptist Church. Pamela loved to read and spending as much time as she could with her family.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Darryl Johnson; her mother, Helen Smith; sisters, Kim Shanley (Flip), and Missie Bennett (Tom); son, Lucas Johnson (Danielle); one grandson, Oliver Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Smith and niece, Brooke Shanley.

Pallbearers will be, Lucas Johnson, Brian Shanley, Kevin Shanley, Jarred Vidrine, Ben Johnson, and Allen Williams.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 11:00am until funeral service time of 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Baker, Louisiana.
