Ollie Thomas Perry Sr.

Ollie Thomas “Tom” Perry Sr. a native of Scott County, Mississippi and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on April 15, 2017 at home at the age of 76. Tom served in US ARMY and was a lifetime member of Eastgate Masonic Lodge and a devoted member of the Acacia Shrine Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie & Evelyn Perry; a brother, Johnny Ray Perry and a son, Lawrence Scott Dodd. Tom is survived by his wife of 39 years Linda Perry: Children - Bruce Dodd, Lisa Wright & husband Greg, Teresa Perry, Layne Dodd & wife Ginger, Ollie Perry Jr. & Clint, William Perry & wife Celine, devoted niece Angela Delaney & husband Gary, Personal angel Lillian Smith, sister Mary Campbell & husband Clyde, sister-in-law Carolyn Perry, many nephews and nieces, grandchildren - Chandler Dodd, Whitney Dodd, Meghan Dodd, Andye Dodd, Ethan Dodd, Carson Dodd, Zachary Richard, Corey Wright, Matthew Wright, Nicole Perry, great grandchildren - Olivia Wright, Edwin Wright, Conner Wright, Ashlyn Wright, beloved dogs - Roxy, Tuffy, and Taddy Cat. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 5:00 pm- 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 8:30 am until funeral service begins at 10am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
