I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Monique. Her loss is felt not only by her family and loved ones but also by the literary community. Monique was an incredibly talented author, and her work has left a lasting impact on many of her readers, myself included.
Through her writing, Monique had a way of capturing the human experience and bringing characters to life in a way that felt authentic and relatable. Her stories were not only entertaining but also thought-provoking and inspiring.
I want you to know that Monique's work has inspired me, and I am grateful for the contribution she made to the literary world. Please accept my deepest condolences, and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Monique O'Connor James has been in every waking moment since I learned of her unexpected passing. She was a beautiful soul with a brilliant light inside to help others find their way, a beloved friend, and exceptional author. I always learned something from her stories, that I will cherish and cling onto. 

Rest in Peace my beautiful friend, I will always remember the chats and lessons in writing, like spell out the numbers unless it is a year, then use all four numbers. Pay attention to your tenses. Those little things are the big ones for me.  I Love You and am missing you at the moment!

Dear Monique, my friend, my mentor, my inspiration,

I went through some old texts, emails, FB messages-- and laughed my butt off like it was yesterday. Then I cried-- but, those are the memories I'm going to hold on to. I swear our brains were tit for tat at times.

I'm such a lucky 'dork' -I mean, person, to have had the opportunity to gain a friendship with you. Working with you in the literary world was, and always will be an inspiration. The words you offered me, both personally and professionally will be cherished forever. 

To Keith, Colton, Kayleigh, Mr. John, Mrs. Ruth, Ash, Rachel, and other close family and friends, Mo spoke so highly of you, and loved y'all so much. My heart is with you.

U will be desperately miss. I treasure all our laughs and many talks, I will hold in my heart forever. My love to Keith, Colton, Kayleigh, Mr. John and the rest of the family. May u rest in piece and dance among the angels and hug your mom as often as you can. I love u and will miss you.
