Mildred L. Stevens passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at her home. She was 82 and a native of Florence, Miss., and a resident of Denham Springs. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Scott; and two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kathy Tate, and William and Janet Tate; a sister, Beth Kent; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Stevens. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, at 10:30 a.m. in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, conducted by Elmo Winters, pastor.
