With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Wayne Williams, 77, a resident of Clinton, Louisiana who died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was a native of Baton Rouge. Mike was an avid lover of nature, animals and always lent a helping hand when needed. He was loved and respected by all. For four years Mike served in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic and retired after many years of working at Brooks Harbour & Associates. He is preceded in death by his parents, Corrine Doughty Williams and Leonard Williams. Michael is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janie Lusk Williams, brother, Robert "Bob" Williams (Sylvia), brother-in-law, Joel Lusk (DeDe), and several nieces and nephews, including Joel, Ty and Elena Lusk, with whom he was especially close. A private gravesite service will be held for immediate family.
