Melissa “Mo” Anne Babin, born on March 29, 1958, a resident of Darien, GA and a native of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Thursday January 5, 2012 at the age of 53. She had a green thumb and a passion for flowers and plants. Mo was known for her love of animals and her genuine kindness to give you the shirt off her back at any time. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by many. She is survived by her mother, Elsie Babin; fiancé’, Ray Jarreau; one son, Corey Runnels and wife Brittany; one daughter, Megan Allen; two sisters, Nonie LeJeune and Cathy Easley and husband Jay; two brothers, Randy Babin and wife Susan, and Dale Babin and wife Mona; one grandson, her pride and joy, Tanner Runnels; and many nieces, nephews, and lots of loving friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Norman Babin. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 10am until service at 2pm.
