Mary Agnes Gobert-Harrel

Baton Rouge, LA - funeral service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00am at Greenoaks Funeral Home for Mary Agnes Gobert-Harrel, who died Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 7:30pm at St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA.

Interment will be in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Mallet, LA at 1:30pm with a blessing of the grave.

George Myer, minister at Cornerstone Church of Christ, will officiate at the service. Ms. Gobert-Harrel, born August 27, 1960, was a native of Church Point, LA and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of South Baton Rouge Church of Christ and Cornerstone Church of Christ.

Agnes leaves to mourn, yet cherish her loving memory; one precious daughter, Mary Elizabeth Harrel; two sisters, Rita Gobert of Baton Rouge, LA, Velma Gallien of Lake Charles, LA; eight brothers, Norris Gobert (Joyce) of Lake Charles, LA, Johnny Gobert (Lenora) of Orlando, FL, Nebert Gobert of Duson, LA, Hilery Gobert of Iowa, LA, Gilbert Gobert of Dallas, TX, Michael Gobert and Richard Gobert of Church Point, LA and Gregory Gobert of Lithia Springs, GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Gobert Sr. and former Elizabeth Guillory, both natives of Church Point, La; three brothers, Lawrence Gobert Jr., Joseph Gobert and Robert Gobert; and three sisters, Victorine Guillory, Josie Mae Guillory, and Ophelia Leday.

The family is requesting that visiting hours be observed at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, LA from 9:00am to 10:00am Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Pallbearers are Hilery Gobert, Gilbert Gobert, Michael Gobert, Richard Gobert, Gregory Gobert, Christopher Guillory.
