Mary Jane Dykes

"Mary Jane was born in Meridian, MS and was a resident of Denham Springs. She passed away July 1, 2018, at the age of 88.  Mary Jane was a member of Amite Baptist Church and is survived by her sister, Nancy Miranda; brother, John Kinabrew; son, Billy Dykes; 2 daughters, Darlene Borders and Nancy Dykes; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dykes, Sr.; parents, John Paul and Jennie Ruth Kinabrew; brother, Paul Kinabrew; 2 sons, Jack Dykes and Willie Dykes, Jr.; and a daughter, Jennie Ruth Dykes.  Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Visitation will continue at the funeral home Wednesday, July 4, 2018, from 10:00 am until services at 1:00 pm conducted by Rev. Dr. Terry Booth.  Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.  Pallbearers will be Billy Dykes, Casey Parrish, Koree Watts, Alex Myers, Paul Morris and Stephen "Magic" Adams.
