Mary Eunice Olinde Chustz, affectionately known as "Dee Dee" to all family and friends, passed away on January 01, 2015 at 4:30pm in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Jarreau, Louisiana and a resident of Bueche, Louisiana. In recent years, she resided in Baton Rouge. Mary Eunice was born on September 14, 1913 and was 101 years and 3 months of age at the time of her death. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters: Marjorie Anne Chustz Smith&husband James, and Carolyn Gayle Chustz McGrew; two grandchildren: Sharon Anne Smith Naquin&husband Al, and Charles Kevin McGrew; three great-grandchildren: Laura Blair Naquin Green&husband Rory, Angela Dawn McGrew and Brandon Anthony McGrew; two sisters: Shirley Olinde Ballard&husband Wiley, and Yvonne Olinde Woffard; sister-in-law: Laura Ballard Olinde; and numerous nieces&nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years: Charles Joseph "Moon" Chustz; granddaughter: Laura Smith LeBlanc; mother: Melina Bueche Olinde; father&step-mother: Joseph&Edmae Guidroz Olinde; and five brothers: Hewitt, Wilsey, Wilson, Lawrence and Willard Olinde. Visitation will be held Monday, January 05, 2015, at Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lakeland from 9:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, conducted by the Rev. Todd Lloyd and assisted by David Olinde. Interment will follow in Lakeland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Naquin, James E. Smith, Ronald Olinde, Willard Olinde, Rory Green and Charles Kevin McGrew. Honorary pallbearers are: Wendell Olinde, Wilson Olinde, James Chustz and Rickey Frederick.
