Every moment, thank God.” 71 a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Wednesday January 19, 2011. Marlene (MyMom) was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will forever be in our hearts and missed greatly. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday January 20, 2011 from 6pm until 9pm and continuing on Friday January 21, 2011 from 12pm until time of services at 2pm. Entombment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Marlene is survived by her three daughters: Gale Louviere and special friend Gail Landry, both of Brusly, LA, Dianna and Tolley Parsley of Elton, La, and Vanessa and Thurman Floyd, Grapevine, TX; grandchildren: Derrick and Victoria Parsley, Heather, Forrest Robert and James Floyd; sisters-in-law: Esther Jean Ardoin and husband Julius of Basile, LA, Nettie Louviere, Nevis Fontenot; and brother-in-law A.C. and wife JoAnn Louviere of Lafayette, LA. Marlene is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence R. “Bob” Louviere; her parents; 3 sisters; a brother; and brother-in-law. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ardoin, Tolley Parsley, Derrick Parsley, Jeff Louviere, Dwain Ardoin, and Thomas Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Forrest Floyd, James Floyd, Thurman Floyd, Heather Floyd and Victoria Floyd. The family would like to especially thank the family and friends for their love, support and prayers and the ICU-C at the Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet.
