A loving husband, father, and paw-paw, who loved Jesus, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Watson, he passed away at age 54 on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center. He was a graduate of ITI Technical College. Mark was an avid LSU and Saints fan. Mark had a deep love for his family including his wife, children, and grandchildren as well as a love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. After retiring from the East Baton Rouge School Board, Mark became the owner of Mark's Electrical and Lighting Service, LLC. Mark is survived by his wife of 25 years, Terri Soileau; children, Bonnie Pettyjohn and husband Jesse, Rachael Morgan and husband Brian, Jordan Soileau, and Victoria "Tiny" Soileau; his beloved mother, Elvinia Lambert Soileau; grandchildren, Braiden, Isabella, Ava, Josiah, Cole, Taylor, and Emma; two sisters, Janet Dana and Gail Martin; two brothers, Craig and Dennis Soileau; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Soileau and niece Chrissy Martin. Pallbearers will be Larry Dobbins, Jr., Daryl Jarreau, Richard Belona, Joey Martin, Eddie Martin, and Dennis Soileau. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Soileau, Reggie Martin, and Jim Martin. Visitation will be at Bethany Church South Campus, 11107 Honore Lane Baton Rouge, on Saturday July 12, 2014 from 8:30 am till service time at 10 am.
