After 86 years of gardening, cooking, loving children, and helping others know Christ, Marjorie went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 12:51am. Her unexpected passing was the result of a pulmonary embolism. She was born on September 2, 1929 on French Fork, part of Little River in Catahoula Parish. After graduating from Block High School, she moved to Baton Rouge for business college and retired from the LA State Dept. of Revenue after more than 30 years. She leaves behind two daughters, Johanna and Julie, brothers Robert and Crawford Williams, and dear extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband Robert Leonard, son Clark, parents Wes Clark and May Rodriguez Williams, sisters Mary C. Andreu and Elaine Williams, and brother Raymond Clark. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Baptist Church on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 9am until the 11am service, which will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy C. French. Burial will be private.
