Marie Panepinto Laborde

"Marie Panepinto Laborde, age 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. A native of Sunshine, she was born on December 8, 1926. Marie was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Merlin H. Laborde; her parents, Seraphina and Dominic Panepinto; a sister, Frances Panepinto; three brothers, Frank, Joseph and Jimmie Panepinto; and a granddaughter, Mary Katherine Laborde. She is survived by her four children, Donna M. Laborde, Janice M. Laborde, Gerald J. Laborde, and David M. Laborde and his wife, Kathleen K. Laborde. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Victoria E. Laborde and Chloé M. Laborde. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent dePaul, P. O. Box 127, Baton Rouge, LA 70821 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am celebrated by Rev. Edwin Martin.
