“Well done, thou good and faithful servant:” Matthew 25:21. Marie passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 1:36 a.m. surrounded by her family, at the age of 100. She was born in Fullerton, LA, grew up in Natalbany and was a resident of Livingston for the past 38 years. Marie was one of the sweetest, loving souls and left a mark on every life she touched. Marie was a devout Christian and lived her life loving God, her family, and her friends in that order. She fought the good fight and will truly be missed. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst East on Florida Blvd. on Monday, June 27th, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Services will be celebrated by Bro. Paul Taylor. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be John Lopez, Bill Cobb, Billy Cobb, Roy Cobb, Rusty Bellue, and Prince Jefferies. Marie was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she made so many dear and special friends. She looked after them and they certainly looked after her. She attended her monthly W.O.W. (Women of Worth) group meetings to study about Jesus and fellowship with other Christian ladies. In 2015, her family endowed the Marie Cobb Bellue Teaching and Learning Scholarship at Northwestern State University for students who were the first in their family to attend college. She was very proud at the presentation of the endowment. Her favorite place to be was in her yard. She loved working in her flowers, mowing her grass, and making sure there were no sticks in her yard. She also loved to tap dance and sing hymns, and could do the splits well into her 80’s. She is singing her favorite hymn and tap dancing with Jesus. What a glorious life of eternity it will be! The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice and LaPlantation Assisted Living. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.rabenhorsteast.com for the Bellue family.
