Marian Theresa Ramagos Allement

Marian Theresa Ramagos Allement, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 94. Ms. Marian was born in Morganza, LA to parents, Alphonse and Eliska LeBlanc Ramagos. She was a dedicated homemaker to her children, was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church for 70 years and served on the Church Altar Society. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time and caring for her family.

Marian is survived by daughters, Kathy and husband Dr. Jim Jeansonne, Nancy and husband Mr. Michael Olano; one son, Rusty and wife Linda Allement; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Allement; eleven grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Russell J. Allement; parents, Alphonse and Eliska LeBlanc Ramagos; son, Glenn Mark Allement; daughter, Miriam Allement Hodge and son-in-law, Danny Hodge;

Pallbearers will be, Paul Allement, Jim Jeansonne, James Jeansonne, Stephanie Jeansonne, Michael Olano, Kevin Olano, Matthew Chenevert, and Asher Duplessis; and tweleve brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank Ms. Marian’s caregivers, Nancy and Mike Olano, Rochelle Daigle, the staff at Pinnacle Hospice, Arka Robinson and who all cared for her with loving hearts and gentle hands. A special thanks to Stephanie Armand for bringing Holy Communion and loving, spiritual words.

Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave. Baton Rouge, LA Thursday, December 15, from 9:00-10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial time of 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA.
