Lola Faust, native of Mississippi and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday April 25, 2014 at the age of 65. Lola was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She retired from Williamsburg Sr. Living Community. She was a domestic goddess who could sew, bake, and cook. She was a loving wife, flawless mother, and doting grandmother who is survived by her husband of 42 years, Russell Faust; daughter, Kelli Faust-Bastidas and spouse, Jaime Bastidas; son, Billy Faust; and grandchildren, Marcus and Milana Bastidas. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mable Spencer; sisters, Patricia Coker and Josie Sanders; and brother, William Spencer, Jr. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and nurses at OLOL in the MICU, SPCU, and RCU. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday April 29, 2014 from 5PM-9PM and will resume on Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 10AM until funeral service at 12PM. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
