Lisa began her work in public service at the Baton Rouge Police Department, then became the Prison Healthcare Manager for Baton Rouge EMS, ultimately finishing with 32 years of service as the Assistant Business Manager.
Lisa was known for her kindness, always including 10-15 extras on vacations, holidays, and special events. She was organized, ahead of schedule, and the ultimate planner, having her Christmas shopping finished and wrapped by late October.
Lisa was a friend and prayer warrior to countless people. The way she lived her life was a testament to her faith and relationship with the Lord, which was made apparent to all. The outpouring of love upon her death has been amazingly abundant.
Lisa was a grandmother of two, Sutton Nora and Jett Olson Jones of LA, loving sister and best friend to Cathy Sanders Santana (Jose) of FL, sister-in-law to Charee Wagenpfeil of MS and Todd Olson (Mary) of MN, and daughter-in-law to John Olson of MN. Lisa was so many things to so many people: a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and ultimately a guiding light to all who knew her. Her wish was for everyone to leave better than how they came in.
