Linda G. Teekel

Linda Bonaventure Teekel, 75, passed away on July 11, 2024 at Pointe Coupee Nursing Home. Linda was born on February 11, 1949 in New Roads, LA. She was the daughter of the late Ivy Bonaventure Sr. and Lena St. Romain Bonaventure. Linda loved cajun music and dancing; she loved having the family together for holidays. Everyone that knew Linda knew that her love, devotion and commitment in life was to her family and to their happiness. She is survived by her children Charles Ray Perritt and Heather Teekel Rusk and grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakota, Eryn, Corey, Shelby, Steven Jr., Mallory and Caiden; siblings, Johnny, Alvin, Jerry, Ronnie, Verda; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Brian Perritt, grand-daughter Brooke Perritt, sisters Marie, Diane and Mary and brothers, Ivy Jr. and Sam Bonaventure. Linda will be missed by so many. Family will gather for a private graveside service.
