Linda Clark Nossek passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the age of 82. She was a native of Atoka, OK, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, and later a resident of Livingston, LA. Linda attended Baylor University and graduated from LSU, obtaining her degree in Education. After 25+ years of service in the banking industry, she retired from Chase Bank. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of French Settlement, often organizing Vacation Bible School, singing in the choir, and leading Bible study. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. Linda is survived by her daughters, Terri McClelland (Chris), and Theresa Tassistro (Rodney); grandchildren, Dillion McClelland (Cat), Katelynne Wade (Kirk), Brandon McClelland, Tyler Thompson, Alex Tassistro; great-granddaughters, Nikia, Leighton, Mataya; sister, Sandy Parnell; and a host of other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard Nossek; parents, Juil and Gladys Clark; sisters, Joyce Clark and Mary Warner; and brother, Kevin Clark. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 8:30am until the time of funeral services at 9:30am. Burial will immediately follow at LA National Cemetery, 303 W. Mount Pleasant Rd., Zachary, LA, at 11am. Pall bearers will be Chris McClelland, Dillion McClelland, Brandon McClelland, Rodney Tassistro, Tyler Thompson, and Ryan Usey.
