Lillian Mable Patin Domingue, a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, passed from this life on April 15, 2023, at the age of 94. Lillian was born September 7, 1928, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Joseph Leak and Lillian Honoré Patin. She married Henry Joseph Domingue, Sr., on April 23, 1949. They had been married for almost 71 years when her beloved Henry passed away on April 7, 2020. Lillian was a graduate of McKinley High School, class of 1947. She had a 21 year career at Goudchaux’s/Maison Blanche Department Store after their last child started school. Lillian was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She and Henry were members of several rosary groups. Lillian is survived by her children Adrienne (Robert) Carter of Lewisville, TX; Goldie (Philip) Domingue-Baker of Baton Rouge; Judith (Wayne) Monget of Nashville, TN; Carl (Jaye Lynn) Domingue of Baton Rouge; Theresa McKnight (Frank Johnson) of Baton Rouge; and Henry Jr. “Hank” (Carmel) Domingue of Fredericksburg, VA; brother Claude (Gloria) Patin, Sr. of Zachary, LA; sisters Patricia LaMotte of Downey, CA, and Elaine Porche of Baton Rouge; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; her stepmother Leona “Big Mama” Trapaigne Patin; her daughter Karen (Maillet), Karen’s husband Denis, and their infant son Robert; her brothers Leo M. “Boise”, Charles, Joseph H. “Sonny”, James E. “Buddy”, Francis Cesar; her sisters Leah Beauregard, Goldie Juge, and Dorothy LeDuff; and one step-great grandchild, Samuel (Sammy) Harris, Jr. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Avenue, beginning at 8:30 a.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Internment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA.
