A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet at age 43. Andy loved to cook cherry and apple pies for family functions and was very giving of his time in repairing friends' computers. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Feb. 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Arnold Austin, former pastor of First Baptist Church for the Deaf. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by the love of his life, Stacy, and her three children, Magan, Mikki and Michael; his father, H. Daniel Carroll; three sisters, Cecilia Jones and husband Skip, Kaye Waycaster and Pamala Harlan; brother, J. Wayne Carroll and wife Erin; uncle, James Carroll and wife Kathleen; great-aunt, Claudia Winton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother, Marian Carroll; paternal grandparents, Howard V. and Mabel Carroll; maternal grandparents, Smyth O. and Lois Lewis; and an aunt, Esther Worth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church for the Deaf or a charity of choice.
