Leonard "Bubba" Wilson Jr., Born May 3rd, 1937 a native of Scotlandville, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. passed away on Thursday June 8th, 2017 at 9:24am, at the age of 80. Leonard proudly served in the US Army. He retired from Willbros Energy Service. Leonard spent a lot of years working overseas in Nigeria and surrounding areas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard A. Wilson and Ollie Mae Everett Wilson; Wife, Frankie Evelyn Rinaudo Wilson; Sons, Michael James Wilson and Mark Leonard Wilson; Sisters, Pamela Ann Wilson; Myrtis Wilson; Elaine Walker; Brother, John Curtis Wilson. Leonard is survived by his loving daughter Vicki Denicola Wise and fiance Stephan M Guitrau; his grandson Landon Paul Denicola and father Daryl Paul Denicola; his granddaughter Whitney Diane Wilson; Joseph Vincent Rinaudo III; Francis Maurice Rinaudo and family and Scott Eugene Rinaudo; Hope Marie Dunaway; Brothers, James 'Jimmy" Walls and wife Verlie Mae and family; Donald Ray Wilson and wife Betty and family; Glenn "Hickey" Wilson and wife Darlene and family; Douglas Wilson and wife Darlene and family; Jeanette Wilson Hess and husband Carter; Gloria Wilson and family; Caregivers, Dawn and Noelle Irwin, Bobbie Harman, Jolene Cheetwood, Elizabeth Parker and Laurie Gilbert. Pallbearers will be Landon Paul Denicola; Daryl Paul Denicola, Francis Maurice Rinaudo, Marcus Tonguis, Steven Wilson and Ricky Denicola. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge; the staff and fellow patients of Fresenius Dialysis; also the very special friends and loved ones of Leonard's Neighborhood. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Greenoaks Funeral Home at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Food and refreshments will be available immediately following burial on site at reception hall.
