A resident of Denham Springs, LA and native of Pollock, LA, Lee S. Fogleman died at 5:10 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Fidelis White Road in Denham Springs. He was 101 and a retired Exxon Co., USA research chemist and supervisor. Visitation and religious services were held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Pollock, LA conducted by the Rev. Leslie Fogleman and the Rev. Kenny Keller. Interment was in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, LA. He is survived by his daughter, Anne Fogleman McCain; grandchildren, Kery McCain Singleton and her husband Maurice Singleton, and Kris McCain Pettigrew and her husband Merrell Pettigrew; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Alivia, Brant, and Anna-Kathryn Singleton, and Jake and Trey Pettigrew; and a great-great-grandchild, Julien Fonseca. Lee was preceded in death by his wives, Ida McCollum Fogleman and Kathryn Rice Fogleman; parents, Rev. J.O. and Anna Keller Fogleman; siblings, Irene, Iley, W.K., Chester, Elwood, Valress, C.W., Jarrell and James Fogleman; and a son-in-law, Ray McCain. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
