Laurice Armoney Galland, a native of Gramercy and resident of Prairieville, La, passed away July 14, 2015. She was 86 years old. Laurice was a retired hair dresser of 33 years. She is survived in death by her son, O. Joseph Galland and spouse Lily, granddaughter, Suzanne G. Dumez and spouse Steve, grandson, Chad Galland, great grandchildren, Andre’ and Corinne Dumez, Chad Galland, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Theophile Armoney, mother Antoinette Conrad Armoney, siblings, Eldridge, George, Conrad and Rose Marie, husband of 59 years, Otis Galland and daughter, Rose Galland. Visitation to be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, La., on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 8:30am until religious service at 10:00am.
