Larry August Ragas Jr.

Larry was married to the former Jesell Rodriguez. To this union three children were born, Jackson A Ragas, Dallas A. Ragas and Joelly A. Ragas. Larry worked many jobs over the span of his life. Most recently worked for Weeks Marine Incorporated at various locations across the United States.

Larry was a dedicated son, a caring husband and a loving father. As a son he supported and encouraged his mother. As a husband he worked diligently to provide for his family. He worked hard and was a man of many trades and abilities. As a child of the Most High he cherished his relationship our Heavenly Father.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Manuella Ragas. His wife Jesell Ragas, son Jackson, Ragas, son Dallas Ragas, Daughter Joelly Ragas. Father in-law Oscar Rodriguez, Mother in-law Anna Rodriguez Brother in-laws: Blair and Erin Rodriguez. Sister Charlotta Poree, Brother in-law- Kelley Poree, two nephews: Kaleb and Joshua Poree and two nieces Charlee and Deborah Poree. Uncle Frank Ragas and his wife Lillian Ragas, Aunt Charlotte Reaux and her husband Clyde Reaux, and many more cherished family members, and friends.

Visitation will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA., on Saturday, July 9 from 11:00am until funeral service time of 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
