"Larry Brice Lakin died 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 62 and a native of Baton Rouge. A memorial service will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home 825 Government St, Baton Rouge, from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018. He is survived by brother, Edward O. Lakin Jr., Sister-in-law Darlene M. Lakin, and nephew Matthew H. Lakin, all of Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of LSU in Geology and a Registered Nurse. He was friend to anyone in need, a savior of lost dogs, and a fixer of all things broken. He will be deeply missed.
