Lanny Ray, age 73, of Louisiana and a resident of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 Lanny was a graduate of Byrd High school in Shreveport. He attended LSU. He was an outside machinist retiring from Maxwell House Coffee after previously working for ETHYL in Baton Rouge. Lanny was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Diane Wyble Ray and his parents, Robert and Eunice K. Ray. Lanny is survived by children, Robert Shannon Ray, and Michael Lanning Ray; grandchildren, Kody Howell, Thais Ray and Rory Ray; great grandchildren, Oliver and Lily Ray. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation that will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9AM until 10AM.
